Whiplash trauma - treatment
Whiplash can occur from a collision as low as 5 mph
Whiplash counts for more than half of all the motor vehicle injuries. The impact throws the head forward rapidly often tearing or straining soft tissue often moving spinal segments out of alignment. It can involve damage to disc, joints, ligaments, and nerves. This often results in neck adn back pain, headaches, nasia, problems with vision and other elements including fatigue, sleep loss and depression. The severity of injuries will vary depending on age, gender, body position at the time of the collision and many other factors such as positioning of your head rest or head restraint at the time of the accident, your physical shape and conditioning, pre existing problems to name a few.

It is not uncommon for these symptoms to improve after a few days only to resurface several days or weeks later. Therefore it is essential that care begin as soon as possible after the accident to keep injuries from becoming chronic.

Best Solution for Failed Lumbar Disc Herniation Treatment
Lumbar Disc Herniations
If you are a victum of a disc herniation with repeatedly failed recovery from traditional treatments and are thinking you are completely out of options, you have already seen every possible specialist and have tried the majority of treatments protocols; UNTIL NOW.

We are now able to offer you a solution to this problem. This is one of the best proven techniques for reducing and resolving disc herniations. What I am speaking of is a technique that I utilize in my practice called internal disc decompression therapy.

The goal utilizing Internal Disc Decompression Therapy is to isolate a lumbar intersegmental level and create negative pressure within the disc space. This phenomena allows the nucleus pulposus to draw back off the annulus reducing the compression on the nerve. Post MRI studies have shown up to fifty percent reduction in the size of the disc herniations utilizing this specific form of decompression therapy. Studies have shown 86% success rate treating lumbar disc herniations, degenerative disc disease, facet syndrome and post surgical failures.

To avoid further ineffective treatments for this condition, surgery and chronicity, contact our office for a consultation or to speak to me directly to answer your questions or concerns regarding treatments.
SAFE LIFTING TIPS
Basic rules of lifting.
Stand close to the object you are about to pick up. Bend your knees and lower yourself down rather than bending at the waist. Keep your back as straight as you can. Pull in your stomach to tighten the muscles. Hold the object close to your body. Let your legs push you up. Lift as slowly as you can. No twisting when you lift. Turn you whole body, don't twist your back. Get help with large, heavy or awkward ofjects. Use a dolly rather than move a heavy object. Avoid lifting heavy things over your head. No lifting if you have a history of back injuries or if your back is hurting.

Remember these basicc rules of lifting and you could avoid chronic back pain and injuries. Keep the load close, bend your knees, keep your back straight and keep your nose between your toes. That will keep you from twisting your back. You must maintain power posture when ever your lifting, you do that by maintaining natural curves of the spine by following these simple steps.
